A brand-new business, one platform: ditching a stack of subscriptions for a single custom system.

The Client

Pull Up Hoops MN runs the Twin Cities' first basketball arcade trailer, yeah, a first-of-its-kind rental setup. When the owner launched this new venture, she needed a digital home base that could keep up with something this new.

How the Project Started

This one came through a personal connection, not a cold pitch. We already knew each other. Right around the time she'd just picked up her brand-new basketball arcade trailer, we teamed up to get her online presence and business operations built out from scratch.

The Challenge

Like a lot of new businesses, Pull Up Hoops MN was headed toward the classic trap: a growing pile of separate paid tools just to keep things running, one app for bookings, another for contracts, another for payments, another for leads. That gets expensive and messy fast, especially when you're just getting a business off the ground.

What We Built

Instead of just a marketing site, Pull Up Hoops MN got a marketing site and a full custom admin dashboard, packed with:

• Privacy-first, cookie-less analytics, powered by Laye, an in-house tool we built ourselves
• Automated contracting system, customers get an email to review and e-sign contracts, no manual chasing needed
• Public gallery (CRUD), image management backed by Cloudflare buckets
• Stripe payment integration, handles bookings and transactions
• Lead funnel, captures and organizes new inquiries
• Customer management system, one spot to track customers and their history
• Transactional email system, running on Zeptomail, with CRON jobs handling the scheduled and triggered sends

Timeline

About a month and a half start to finish, kicked off late May, delivered in July.

Hosting & Security

Both the marketing site and admin dashboard are self-hosted by Simy Dev, with Cloudflare sitting on top to keep things secure and running smoothly.

The Result

No more juggling a handful of separate apps. Pull Up Hoops MN now runs her whole business (bookings, contracts, payments, leads, customers) from one centralized platform. We're still working together on an ongoing retainer basis.
